Heathrow Terminal 2A – Fabric Ceiling

2012/2014 - Ellite Cladding installed the stretched membrane ceiling with a surface area of 45,000 sq m (for Taiyo Europe).

The stretched membrane is an acoustic ceiling while it is also a design element, the membrane being illuminated with colour-changing LEDs.

The membrane consists of fibreglass coated with silicone. It is the 2nd largest installation of this type in the UK
