Heathrow Terminal 2A – Glass Facade

2011/2014 - Installation of the entire external facade, stick system to the apron level, semi unitised with secondary steelwork on the arrivals, gate level and departures (for Inasus UK).

A sloping Integrated Landing System (ILS) screen on the south elevation to reduce radar interference from the envelope.
Brise soleil canopies to reduce solar gain.

The west elevation comprised of a bomb resistant facade incorporating unique secondary steel supports and glass retention systems capable of withstanding a specific blast located at 30 metres from the facade.
